Note: The luster I used was an edible luster. MOST lusters are non-toxic, but not technically edible. Keep in mind that when using an edible luster, your finish may not be completely stroke-free (you can still see some paint strokes in mine). If you want a completely even finish, use the same technique I've shown but use a luster (or even a highlighter dust as they are usually more intense) that is non-toxic but not edible. Remember that you'll have to let your customer know to not actually eat the fondant if you do use a non-toxic but not edible finish though!

The range of Powder Colours are brought to you by leading cake decorating, sugarcraft and patisserie brand Saracino. The pearl powder food colours are for superficial decoration. They are highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way, we recommend adding small amounts of colour at a time and building the colour up to what you desire.
The colours can be dusted directly onto sugarpaste, flower and modelling pastes and marzipan. Mix with cocoa butter, rejuvenator spirit or vodka to create an edible paint. Suitable for food use only.
